	Telly Award Winner   Category: Health & Medicine Project: The Healing Heart Series Client: Sutter Hospitals Foundation   The Healing Heart Series is a set of four video tapes that guides and educates patients and their families about open heart surgery and post-operative recovery.  Each program is hosted by narrators from the Screen Actors Guild. The videos were developed as a result of joint discussions between cardiovascular surgeons and the Cinnabar staff.  The goal was to create a set of brief but comprehensive presentations that would standardize the information patients received regarding heart surgery.   The pre-operative  videos cover such topics as ‘risk factors associated with heart disease’, animated sequences of the operative procedures, the patient in ICU and telemetry, and blood bank donations. The post operative recovery video is particularly uplifting. It includes testimonials from fully recovered patients who’s valuable insights are used to reinforce discussion issues such has dietary needs, care of wounds, physical exercise, post-operative recovery.   Pre-Operative  Surgery   Post Operative Recovery . <
