Phil has worked in film and video for over 25 years.  In 1989, he founded Cinnabar Video, a northern California  production company,  and as its senior producer, he oversees all phases of scripting, filming and post production work on a variety of projects. Clients range from US government agencies to Fortune 500 companies to non-profits

Phil  puts together  the right  team to do the right job, hiring and overseeing writers, SAG actors, gaffers, grips, DPs, animators, musicians  and other  skilled professionals as appropriate to bring each project in on-time and on-line.

He also brings a sense of originality and movement to his pieces, mixing thoughtful direction of on camera talent with a seasoned eye to capture thought provoking images.  His background includes  seven years in the fields of theater,  choreography and the visual arts.

 Phil knows how to communicate and reach an audience. He is much in demand at election time; his media expertise has been used by numerous candidates and ballot measure campaigns to successfully convey messages that result in victory at the polls.

 
Phil was born and raised in San Francisco, California.  Prior to his career in media, he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology at UC Davis and worked for several years as an exploration geologist.
